At Mrs. Peterson's Art Room, my mission is to create a safe, communal space for all kinds of artists - beginners to professionals - to come together and express their creative sides. We believe in unlocking the creative within each and every one of us, and offer a wide range of classes for all students. Whether you have completed foundations or are a brand new student hoping to learn a thing or two about art, Mrs. Peterson's Art Room is here to welcome you into the fold.

Learn and Grow
ART 1 +
Drawing and two dimensional design
This class teaches the basics of art and gives students the opportunity to practice and strengthen drawing and design skills.
3-D Art
Creating three dimensional sculptures out of a variety of materials.
We will be creating spaces, places, and figurines with the materials around the room and on campus.
Digital Photography
Learning the basics to advanced techniques using your phone.
This class will be taking photos indoors and outside. We will learn what different settings mean and finish the course with a portfolio. This class will also include some stop motion.
Fiber Arts
Using string needles and fabric to create something new.
This class will use a variety of fibers to create weavings, painting with needlecraft, sculptures with fabric, etc.
